Roof Soft Wash
Soft washing is a cleaning method using low pressure and specialised cleaning solutions, typically bleach, water and sometimes a surfactant to safely remove mildew, bacteria, algae and other organic stains from roofs and other building exteriors.
It is a ‘softer’ method than traditional power washing. The Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association recommends low-pressure bleach or detergent-assisted washing as the preferred method for cleaning asphalt roofs to prevent damage to the shingles.
Soft washing uses an electric agricultural sprayer to apply a water-based, biodegradable disinfecting cleaning solution to kill the mould, mildew, bacteria, algae, fungus and moss on exterior home and building surfaces.
Our soft washing equipment also has telescoping handles so that we can easily reach roof eaves, upper story windows, and other such areas, without excessive pressure.
We are able to offer soft washing for roofs on all domestic and commercial premises, from houses and apartment buildings to offices and industrial units.
